The health & safety of our employees and customers is our highest priority. Below are some of the safety measures we are taking currently:

  • All garments will be steamed before and after store opening hours, in addition to steaming throughout the day before and after coming into direct physical contact with customers.
  • Adhere to stringent in-store Social Distancing Guidelines by ensuring total in-store headcount and traffic is limited to maintain a distance of 6 feet or more while within the store.

Why might my credit card be refused?

Your credit card may be refused for any of the following reasons:

  • The card may have expired. Check that your card is still valid.
  • You may have reached your credit limit. Contact your bank to check that you have not exceeded the authorized purchase limit.
  • You may have entered some information incorrectly. Check that you have filled in all the required fields correctly.
  • You do not have a United State Billing Address. We suggest that you use PayPal if you are purchasing from outside of the United States. However the Zadig & Voltaire US site only ships to residential addresses in the United States.

Will I be charged sales tax?

We are required to collect sales tax for deliveries to Washington DC as well as to the following US nexus states: CA, CO, FL, IL, HI, MA, NJ, NY, and NV.

Is it safe to use my credit card on the website?

Yes, the data are transmitted in encrypted form. The system will contact the bank corresponding to the card so as to enable the buyer to authorize the purchase. UPS Ground - Complimentary

Orders are processed within 2-3 business days and delivered 1-6 days after being fulfilled depending on the shipping location. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email with your UPS tracking information. For PO Box addresses, your final delivery may be made by USPS.

We are not able to change the shipping method on an order once it has been placed.


Please note, we only ship to residential addresses. If you ship to a hotel we cannot guarantee that you will receive your order and are not held accountable for orders that are not received by the original purchaser. Due to potential delays by UPS Zadig & Voltaire is not held responsible for packages that arrive after the estimated delivery date.

Incorrect Shipping Address

If you input your shipping address incorrectly, Zadig & Voltaire is not responsible for any delivery issues.

Zadig & Voltaire is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. In the event a package is lost or stolen, either the receiver o rZadig & Voltarie will need to contact UPS to open an investigation. We are unable to move forward until the investigation is complete on UPS' end. If UPS determines that your package was delivered we are unable to reship or refund your order. Kindly note, in some cases, UPS may require a police report to open an investigation.


Fragrances are required by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration to be shipped via ground shipping only. Expedited shipping is not applicable.

If you pick a country in a different region than you are currently shopping in, you will be directed to a different site for that country. I want to return a product

Return policy

To return a product, your product must remain in its original condition and package (unworn, unwashed, all tags attached). Products marked down as on SALE cannot be returned at any time. If a SALE item is returned without authorization you will not be refunded.

Return window

You can return full priced item(s) bought on within 30 days, starting from the day you receive your goods.

Return methods

You can return your product free of charge with UPS or UPS Access Point ( Except during during a site promotion- all items are FINAL SALE). Please note that you must drop your product off with your carrier as we do not provide pickups. You can use another carrier at your own expenses.

Return fees

Returns are complimentary limited to one per order, additional returns will be at your own expense. As a reminder, Products marked down as SALE cannot be returned at any time.


Please allow 8-10 business days for your refund to be processed.

Return a product online

  1. If your order is eligible for a return, please reach out to providing the item name(s) you would like to return, and request a prepaid UPS return label.
  2. Once the label is provided, please send the return back to our warehouse with the original packing slip in the box.
  3. When the return is received at our warehouse and checked in, the refund will be processed, and you will receive a Credit Memo email.

Are out-of-stock items restocked?

If an item is out of stock, we will try to restock it as soon as possible. If no stock is available, it will be removed from the website.

What happens if my order cannot be fulfilled?

We try our best to ensure all orders that are placed are fulfilled. Occasionally we cannot fulfill your order; in those cases you will receive an email notification. Your payment method will not be charged for the items that can not be fulfilled.

Is it possible to receive periodic information via email about Zadig & Voltaire's latest new products and offers?

How do I recover my forgotten password?

How can I be sure that I've made my purchase correctly?

Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note depending on the security settings of your email provider your order confirmation email may be in your spam or junk folder. Please check these folders before contacting customer service. If you do not receive an email, contact our customer service.

Can I remove items from my order?

Yes. You can delete any unwanted items from your shopping bag as long as the order hasn’t been processed yet.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, before the order has been processed by us, by contacting our customer service. Please contact within 30 minutes of placing your order, we cannot guarantee your cancelation will be processed if you contact customer service after 30 minutes. Please note, we cannot provide cancellations outside of customer service hours, which are 10am- 5pm Monday- Friday.

Can I change the items in my order?

Once an order is placed, we are not able to change or modify the items in an order (including style, color, and size).

What should I do if I receive a faulty item?

If you receive an item with a defect, please contact our customer service.

What should I do if I receive an incorrect item?
