#WorkInProgress2

Since the launch of its VoltAIRe program in September 2021, Zadig&Voltaire continues to work toward the objectives set for 2025: A sustainable development approach of global proportions.
With the recent launch of the "Made in VoltAIRe Respect" label, Zadig&Voltaire hopes to bring visibility to that work in real time.
Today, you'll find the "Made in VoltAIRe Respect" label — a mark designed to highlight concrete progress toward Zadig&Voltaire's goals — with over 60% of the ready-to-wear products, and over 90% of the accessories developed for Fall-Winter 2022.

Voltaire program - made in Voltaire respect product

In addition to the target fixed for 2025 to guarantee that 100% of our raw materials are certified as coming from sustainable channels, Zadig&Voltaire wanted to go one step further and create a certification process for its products. This initiative allows the brand to offer its customers a large number of products made using materials and manufacturing processes that are certified in accordance with the most recognized environmental standards, a list of which is set out below.

The "Made in VoltAIRe Respect" products are the fruit of this approach and respect very strict specifications. The latter notably include:

- All finished products certified in accordance with recognized standards.

- Any product made from leather sourced from LWG-certified tanneries.

- Any product made from at least 90% materials certified in accordance with recognized standards.

- Any jewelry made from at least 80% recycled metal.

By mobilizing our teams and various partners, Zadig&Voltaire obtained the following certifications:

- GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OCS (Organic Content Standard) which guarantee that fibers and/or textiles are organic.

- RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) which guarantees the welfare of the animals producing wool, respect for grazing land, and traceability of wool throughout the entire value chain.

- GRS (Global Recycled Content) which guarantees the presence and amount of recycled material used in products, environmental and chemical management, and the traceability of recycled materials.

In parallel to these certifications, Zadig&Voltaire is also:

- A member of the Good Cashmere Standard which develops a more sustainable cashmere industry by improving the conditions of farmers, the welfare of animals, and farming practices.

- A member of the Leather Working Group (LWG) which has developed a program of audits to certify leather production sites based on their environmental performance level.

The mobilization of teams and efforts of our partners have already allowed us to make significant progress with the Fall-Winter 2022 collection.

Therefore:

- 90% of the cotton jersey collection is made from organically-grown fibers. 60% of this cotton jersey collection is made from materials certified as manufactured in accordance with the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) or Organic Content Standard (OCS).

- 100% of cashmere knits are now Good Cashmere Standard (GCS) certified.

- 97% of merino wool knits are Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certified.

- 100% of the leather used for the ready-to-wear collection and 97% of the leather used for the accessories collection comes from Leather Working Group (LWG) certified tanneries.

- 100% of the viscose used by Zadig&Voltaire is made from fibers certified as coming from sustainably-managed forests.

The Made In VoltAIRe Respect mention has been added to the care label for applicable textile products and appears on the corresponding product pages on the brand's online store to allow them to be identified.

Already working hard to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption, Zadig&Voltaire's next #WorkInProgress will detail all of the actions taken at our own level to limit our environmental impact.
